相关需求从其邮件中摘抄如下:
- RFID system for tracking delivery vehicles from ports to distribution points in country
- There are currently four ports of entry
- Assuming 500 vehicles
- 20 distribution depots
- Requirement for en route tracking of vehicles from posts positioned near roads, the number of such scanning and monitoring posts can not be determined at the current time.
- We have no requirement for an overall system software, however, we do require an established data format which can be ported into existing databases
- The data to be stored is: vehicle id, freight details (such as batch number and weight), port of origin, date of lading, destination and room for more information if required
We are looking for a scalable solution that have been tested and proven in other projects.
Can you confirm if:
- You can deliver such a system off the shelf
- If so, pricing and initial proposal for such a system (assume prices in the UK/china, as we can arrange shipment and customs clearance)
- Support and training service if available
- Any warranties that you may be able to provide to us.
- If you would be willing to sign an standard MOU, NDA with respect to the above projects.
this is a government related project. They ate trying to overcome a theft problem. The problem is that 100s and 1000s of tones of wheat enter the ports and during the shipment to distribution centers 20-30% of it gets lost/ stolen. They have 500 vehicles and they wpuld like to be able to monitor the vehicles en route at various locations. These locations are police check points throughout the country which will also weigh the vehicles. They already have a oracle data base and any system should be able to interface with their existing system. This is a major project and we need a company capable of carrying this trhough to the end.
a. Have active tags with a range of 10m or so
b. Memory size on Active tags
c. Is there a way of sending an SMS (containing a simple code) on GPRS network with the tags
