- RFID system for tracking delivery vehicles from ports to distribution points in country
- There are currently four ports of entry
- Assuming 500 vehicles
- 20 distribution depots
- Requirement for en route tracking of vehicles from posts positioned near roads, the number of such scanning and monitoring posts can not be determined at the current time.
- We have no requirement for an overall system software, however, we do require an established data format which can be ported into existing databases
- The data to be stored is: vehicle id, freight details (such as batch number and weight), port of origin, date of lading, destination and room for more information if required
